WELCOME TO NANAIMO BALLET SCHOOL

Nanaimo Ballet School would like to welcome all of our new and returning students! NBS is a professional dance school offering high calibre training in Creative Movement, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Tap. Our philosophy is to provide exceptional training in a warm environment that places emphasis on the needs of each student. We offer a variety of classical styles within our ballet program including: French, Russian, Italian, and British RAD exam classes.

Students also have the opportunity to take part in workshops, summer sessions, local performances, festivals, and year-end shows. We strive to recognize each student's individuality, and therefore maintain small classes with a maximum of fifteen students, excluding musical theatre. Our school is dedicated to providing serious dance training in a fun, open environment, both inside and outside the classroom.
